Cell Phone Fundraiser

Just buy a new cell phone? Do you have a drawer at home with the last 3 old cell phones sitting there and you’re wondering if you should throw them away? Don’t! The Cell phone collection box will be at band camp all week. There is also a box in the band room and in the main office.

Your donation can be turned into cash for the general band fund! Hundreds of cell phones are included in this money maker. Any phone that we are unable to get any cash for (very old phones) will be donated to the police department to distribute for 911 calls.

Coffee and Tea

Columbia Street Roastery Coffees and Teas are now available. Fill out the Coffee & Tea order form by the 2^nd and 4^th Mondays of each month at 11:00 A.M. Pick up your order outside the band room (map) on the following Thursdays (that’s the 2^nd and 4^th Thursdays only) at 5:30. Payment must be made at the time of pick up.

Central Band Boosters
Gift Card Program

Central Band Boosters will be offering an ongoing gift card program. This program offers gift cards from a variety of vendors, including restaurants, gas companies, clothing stores, bookstores, several internet retailers and others. When you order a gift card through the band boosters, the band boosters receive a percentage of the gift card purchase price. This is a win-win situation. You can buy gift cards for gift giving or for personal use. You pay the face value of the card. Cards will be ordered at least monthly (more frequently if we have enough demand). The cards will be made available for you to pick up at a mutually agreed upon location and time. The band boosters earn money to support the band programs.

Some suggestions for gift cards:

• Buy gift cards now for business or summer travel
  • Hotel gift cards for Best Western, Hyatt, and Marriott (includes Marriott, Courtyard, Fairfield Inn, Renaissance, Residence Inn, etc.)
  • Restaurant gift cards
  • Gasoline gift cards

• Not traveling over break - how about enjoying "break" at home
  • DON'T COOK - purchase restaurant gift cards for each night
  • Buy a bookstore giftcard and read some good books over break
  • Treat yourself to some bon bons - buy a Fannie May gift card
  • Spoil yourself - buy one or more retail gift cards

• Get ready for spring - order Service Master Gift Cards
  • Use for Merry Maids to help with spring cleaning
  • Use for ChemLawn or TruGreen to get your yard in shape

• Order a variety of restaurant cards. When you are in a time crunch or the kids beg to go out to eat, you don't need to worry about having cash on hand-grab one of the cards.

• Teenagers love to get gift cards for places like Best Buy, Old Navy, etc. But they also like to get gas cards and restaurant cards.

• Keep several different cards on hand for unexpected gift-giving. Gift cards are never the wrong size or color!

• If you are a frequent shopper (diner) at one of the vendors in the gift card program, please consider "buying ahead" by purchasing a gift card. You will have paid for the next purchase in advance and contributed to the band boosters.
