Please read this itinerary carefully.  This trip is quite different from the other festivals
that we attend because it is in town and we perform so early in the day.

Itinerary for Marching Maroons
Illini Marching Band Festival
Memorial Stadium
Champaign, IL
Saturday, October 17, 2009

There will not be a rehearsal prior to departure.  PLEASE make sure you are here, ready
to go at 9:45.

9:45            Meet at Central - Fully DRESSED & READY TO GO!
10:05          Load Busses ? equip, uniforms, instruments, snacks, etc.
10:25          Depart from Central
10:35          Arrive, Unload Buses & Trailer
10:55          Warm Up in Parking Lot - E14
11:40          Transit to Performance
11:55          Stage
12:03          Performance

Immediately following performance, we will be photographed, board the busses and return
to Central.

All students will travel to U of I on yellow busses.

Any student who wishes to NOT return to Central on yellow busses with the band following
our performance will need to notify Mrs. Currey by filling out the absence request form
online by Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009.  We will not adjust our bus lists on the day of the
competition.

You may wish to return to Memorial Stadium to watch other bands.  You will be admitted
for free if you have a hand stamp which can be obtained while you are wearing your uniform
at the ticket booths across Florida Avenue from the south tunnel.  Otherwise, you must have
a ticket.  Adults:  $8.00.  Students / Children:  $5.00

6:00 p.m.        Awards - on your own
   
Students need to bring:
Uniform = with all parts including shakos, shoes, clean black socks, shorts to wear under
  uniforms, maroon t-shirts
Instruments/ flags/ equipment
Warm clothes / Jackets to wear over your uniform
